I was very sad when I heard about Laura passing. In our school days she was always kind and was a great fellow classmate with our events and with the organizations she was in. At our 40th reunion I had a great conversation with her when I took her to the airport for her return to Denver. It is hard to lose another classmate, but I know she is enjoying the other side.

A long time ago, when Laura was in grad school at Northwestern, my band did a concert there and Laura came up to say hi at the end of the show. We walked to some coffee shop and sat and talked about "old times" at CLCHS until about 2:00am. Seems like yesterday.

I feel Laura's class picture says it all about her as I remember her. Always had a smile on her face and a pleasant demeanor. Sad to see her leave this world ----
