One of two places in the world which produces a "Moonbow" or a rainbow in the light of a full moon. Standing at the edge of the falls looking at it is breathtaking. Now if you are standing there and holding someone by the hand and looking at it, you are in for a great night. Trust me on that one.

One night, many years ago, I had backstage passes to the "Opry" in Nashville. I sat with Ernest Ashworth (Talk Back Tremblin" Lips) for an hour and taslked music. As he got up to go onstage, George Jones came out of a side room. Now I ain't sayin' he was drunk but it took three good sized guys to hold him up. As George swung to hit one of them, the guy ducked and George hit me about full force. Jim Ed Brown was hosting and the folks I was with met up with Barbara Mandrell in a tight red spangly red dress. I wasn't quite thirty yet and hoping for a power failure.

I had a crush on every girl in the class. I was i a band with Ted Finger on bass I was playing guitar and lord help me with my memory but I think it was Mike Swenson on drums and his brother playing guitar. Mikes Bass drum just rolled over or a cymbal stand went down. I don't remember because I was mortified. Everthing was funny to me. Mr. Fatchett in some kind of shop class was good.

Dreaming about girls and taking a sledgehammer to a 49 Henry J at a pep rally. I wish I had one of those now.

Mr. Brady He was the only teacher silly enough to give me my only "A" on a report card. I really liked Mr. Tibbs for drivers ed. He was football coach and PE guy too.

Being rather plain and non descript as far as looks go, I got a really beautiful woman to be my girlfriend using only wit and charm. Those of you who remember me are probably rolling on the floor but it is true. She is my girlfriend now and I hope she remains.

Living in Ft. Lauderdale for seven years after the Army, I spent a zillion sunrises in the beach. Once, so tired from working the previous day and playing guitar to the wee hours, I wrapped up in a sheet to go to sleep after we cooked breakfast on the beach. The sun went through the sheet and burned my legs and feet really bad.
